France: Strike at Florette factory suspended pending negotiations

Late on Monday afternoon, a strike which started last week at the Florette factory in Lessay was suspended. The workers then waited for the negotiations to take place on Wednesday.

“Tonight, the strike has ended. The employees have accepted the management’s proposal to negotiate, as early as Wednesday in Paris, an agreement about working on public holidays,” declared Alain Ménart, CFDT representative, on Tuesday. “This puts an end to the industrial action, now, we must negotiate a good agreement wisely.”
