The Belgian company, Nicolaï Fruit from Sint-Truiden, recently successfully linked its new ERP system, SAP Business One, to QC One.
The integration between these two systems eases the workloads of various departments. It also contributes to a more efficient way of data processing when it comes to quality reports.
The fresh fruit and vegetable wholesaler has been working with the QC One quality certification solution for several years now. Johan de Gendt, CEO at Nicolaï Fruit, explains, "Initially, we started with the digitalization of our quality inspection process at two locations."
"We then decided to replace our ERP system. We also successfully migrated to SAP Business One. A logical next step was to also link to QC One. This was successfully achieved thanks to the good work of our partner, Vigor, who are based in Mechelen.”
Nicolaï Fruit will also shortly be able to share their quality inspection reports automatically via this quality certification platform. In this way, they will further expand their transparency with suppliers as well as clients.
Sales department kept entirely in the loop
It is evident that the sales team and the quality department at this company work well together. This was, however, not always the case. QC One ensures that the salespeople have access to the correct quality information.
The quality number of any given pallet or batch can immediately be seen on the ERP system. Suitable client groups can even be displayed here. Everyone, no matter where they are, can also keep up to date using the free QC One app for iOS and Android.

The platform is already linked to, among others, SAP Business One, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, RPO/Freshng, and BT9/Xsense.
