JD and China Overseas sign a strategic cooperation agreement
On December 14th, JD Group and China Overseas Land & Investment Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement that will utilize the strengths of both parties to construct numerous unmanned supermarkets in major cities throughout the country. Their cooperation establishes a retail without borders. X unmanned supermarkets, and X unmanned apothecaries, and intelligent distribution terminals are examples of intelligent technology that gradually spreads.
The vice-director of JD Group and director of the department for X-business, Xiao Jun, stated that there are three main aspects to the content of this cooperation agreement:
1. Unmanned supermarkets will be opened in the domestic food centers of China Overseas;
2. Unmanned supermarkets will be distributed among nearly 200 China Overseas business centers;
3. Transport centers including airports, train stations, bus stations, and metro stations.
