The kaki marketing campaign, which started in early October, is developing at an excellent pace, with more than 25% of the production already commercialised; a considerable increase compared to last season's figures.

In this sense, it is worth noting that the good marketing work carried out so far has compensated for the later start of the harvest, which occurred as a result of this season's hot weather conditions.

The great quality of this year's fruit is also helping in this sense, and although a 10% increase in production volumes was initially expected, the final figures will eventually be similar to last season's.

Meanwhile, as already previously announced, the Regulatory Board of the Protected Designation of Origin Kaki Ribera del Xúquer has started an ambitious communication campaign oriented towards the entire agro-food chain (producers, traders, large distributors, wholesalers, retailers, press and consumers) with the main goal of providing information about the correct use of the Persimon® brand and thereby prevent any improper use of the term, which is already receiving an excellent response from distributors.
