Youth inspired by CAMP-ARI Summer Camp
Last month marked the official kick-off of SUNSET® CAMP-ARI, a 5-night camp experience at Gesstwood Camp and Education Centre for 32 local youths between the ages of 10-15. As part of the company’s sponsorship with the Essex-based camp, the camp was designed to celebrate the five recently renovated and winter-proofed cabins that SUNSET donated the funds for earlier this year. The campers were selected by an online contest held by SUNSET, which had the youth answer questions relating to leadership, healthy eating, the environment, and why they believe they should be selected to attend the camp.
“Contributing to our community is incredibly important to us, especially when it involves better serving our local youth,” said CEO Paul Mastronardi. “We wanted to provide an exciting and memorable camp experience and inspire kids to make healthy life and food choices.”
