As of 1 December 2025, Pavel Kveten has been appointed CEO of Girteka Logistics, Europe's largest asset-based road transportation company. The company states that his role will focus on business management processes, operational efficiency, and ongoing organisational transformation.
According to Edvardas Liachovičius, CEO of Girteka Group, the company seeks to maintain its position in the European logistics sector. He noted the need for a leader with industry experience for the coming year and confirmed Kveten's return to the organisation.

Kveten previously spent more than 10 years at Girteka in transport, commercial, and operational leadership roles. He later headed Everwest for three years, overseeing expansion into markets including China and Kazakhstan and working on internal management structures and process development.
During his earlier tenure at Girteka, he led multinational teams and oversaw transformation projects across the organisation during periods of market fluctuation and operational uncertainty.
On returning to the company, Kveten stated that Girteka has the expertise and technologies to increase the efficiency of its operations. He outlined priorities, including efficient resource use, stable operations, and a customer-focused approach.
