Emergent Cold LatAm has opened a new cold storage warehouse in the Guadalajara region, marking its second facility launch in Mexico this year and further expanding its temperature-controlled logistics network across Latin America.
The warehouse has a capacity of 12,000 pallet positions and covers 81,000 cubic metres, accommodating up to 12,000 tons of food. The site includes land for potential expansion that could double the current storage capacity.

According to the company, the location provides access to major logistics routes connecting the region with the ports of Manzanillo and Lázaro Cárdenas. The Managing Director for Mexico stated that the company is continuing to expand its cold chain infrastructure in response to market demand.
Earlier in 2025, Emergent Cold LatAm opened its first ground-up warehouse in Monterrey and completed expansions at facilities in Villagrán, Guanajuato, and Apodaca. The company entered the Mexican market in September 2022 through an acquisition and consolidated additional operations the following year. It now operates 36 warehouses throughout the country.
