Mission Produce has appointed Douglas M. Stone to its Board of Directors, effective November 26, 2025. Stone will serve as an independent Class I director with a term ending at the Company's 2027 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. With this appointment, the Board expands from ten to eleven members.
Stone has also been appointed to the Compensation Committee, where he replaces Bruce C. Taylor.

Stone has worked in agribusiness leadership roles for several decades. He most recently served as President of AgriBusiness at J.R. Simplot Company from 2018 to 2024. His previous positions include Vice President of Wholesale Sales at J.R. Simplot Company, President and CEO of Consolidated Sourcing Solutions, and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Terra Industries Inc.
Mission Produce CEO Steve Barnard said, "Douglas brings a wealth of experience in agribusiness and supply chain leadership." Stone commented, "I'm honored to join Mission Produce's Board of Directors."
Stone holds an MBA from the University of South Dakota and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Iowa.
Mission Produce supplies fresh Hass avocados, mangos, and blueberries to retail, wholesale, and foodservice markets in more than 25 countries. The company operates packing facilities in the U.S., Mexico, Peru, and Guatemala, with sourcing operations across multiple regions and distribution centers in North America, China, Europe, and the UK.
