Anaïs Orban, JMF Partenariats:

"We are expecting a high quality of Moroccan tomatoes this season"

Created in 2016 by JMF Partenariat, the Caméléon brand brings together several products of Moroccan origin, including round tomatoes and Charentais melons. Designed to meet the needs of European retailers, Caméléon focuses on traceability and regularity of supply to support its clients throughout the season. "This year, we even have an agricultural engineer in Morocco who monitors production, product quality, and logistics to guarantee products of quality for our clients," explains Anaïs Orban of JMF Partenariat.

A brand focused on traceability and quality control
"Caméléon is our own brand, which enables us to ensure traceability and quality control at every stage. The company relies on several certifications - IFS Broker, GlobalGAP, and AB - and on direct sourcing from Morocco, in close collaboration with producers and exporters. This organization aims to guarantee regular volumes, competitive prices, and continuity of supply throughout the season. "We have a daily presence at the production centers and use Next Station, our in-house traceability software, to track logistics right through to delivery in France and Europe."

Positioned to meet the needs of retailers
The Caméléon brand is positioned in the imported fresh produce segment, aimed at wholesalers and supermarket purchasing centers. The products are sized to meet supermarket standards and the requirements of operators looking for consistency, traceability, and value for money. While the French market remains the main outlet, the brand is also present in several European countries: Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, and Poland.

High-quality tomatoes expected for the 2025/2026 season
For the 2025/2026 season, JMF Partenariat is forecasting a volume of 4,000 to 4,500 tons of tomatoes in all categories. "We are expecting fine Moroccan quality, with southern-tasting products," explains Anaïs Orban. As with other crops, however, Morocco has had to contend with drought and temperature variations this year that are likely to affect volumes. The campaign started on schedule, and sales will run from September to May, covering most of the market's needs.

JMF Partenariat: A presence in several production areas
Based in Perpignan, JMF Partenariat is an import-export company specializing in fresh fruit and vegetables, with operations in France, Belgium, Morocco, and Spain. The company manages several brands, including Caméléon, Trésor des Saisons, and Cocci Miam, and boasts a total volume of around 25,000 tons a year, mainly destined for France and Europe. Its activity is based on a direct presence in the production basins, an extended harvest calendar, and certified quality monitoring (IFS Broker, GlobalGAP CoC, AB via Ecocert).
