Naïo Technologies targets sales of €11 million by 2030

© Naïo Technologies Placed in receivership last summer, Naïo Technologies, a Toulouse-based company specialized in agricultural robotics, has found a buyer in the (new) French company formed by Matthias Carriere (current sales director) and Antoine Monville, a Toulouse-based entrepreneur and manufacturer. The company will benefit from the support of the Occitanie region (via a €6.4m investment plan [7.43 million USD]) as well as Bpifrance and Mirova.

Founded in 2011, Naïo Technologies develops and markets 100% electric autonomous robots to relieve farmers of their daily tasks and reduce the use of herbicides by 50-70%. Thanks to this takeover, the company will be able to accelerate its industrial development.

"The priorities of the new action plan are to ramp up production, strengthen the European distribution network, and consolidate R&D activities, with the aim of returning to operating breakeven by 2028," according to the press release. The company is aiming to produce approximately 100 robots a year within 3 years, and to achieve sales of €11 million [12.77 million USD] by 2030.
