The latest edition of the USAppleTracker has been published. Notably, the total, comparable U.S. apple holdings cannot be reported for November 1, 2025 due to a Federal Government shutdown that prevents Michigan from being able to estimate its state's holdings. A revised report will be issued once those data are available.

In lieu of official Michigan storage figures, this document details what is known about the state's production, movement and exports that may be useful in helping readers adjust the November 2025 report. This includes the fact that in August 2025, the USDA estimated Michigan production at 26.2 million bushels, a 4 percent decrease from the previous season. Subsequently, at USApple's annual Outlook conference, growers from the state raised the estimated production to 30 million bushels, a 10 percent increase from the prior year.
