"The 2025 almond campaign has confirmed the resilience of the 'Vinci a tutti' variety," report Stella, Samantha, and Giuseppe Vetriolo. The three entrepreneurs explain that this almond has become "a symbol of Sicilian quality in the organic segment."
Production has increased slightly (+10/15%) compared to 2024. This is due to regular flowering and a better fruit setting favoured by mild temperatures. 'Vinci a tutti' is a highly prized native variety appreciated for its sweet seed, heart shape, and high oil content. Harvesting is carried out between late August and mid-September, showing a good uniformity of ripening.

The 2025 season was characterised by a spring that favoured early flowering. However, very high summer temperatures penalised the average size of the fruit, particularly in non-irrigated areas. The managers of Convicinum, which produces and processes organic almonds and extra virgin olive oil, point out that the weather anomalies actually improved quality, favouring a better aromatic concentration. Almonds therefore boast a high oil content, deep flavour, and a complex aromatic profile. These characteristics are distinctive of the 'Vinci a tutti' variety.
Positioning and distribution
The organic sector maintains a positive trend, although more stable than in recent years. Typical consumers belong to a medium-high socio-economic group and are attentive to sustainability, traceability, and the Sicilian origin of products.

Convicinum offers different types of packaging to serve different market segments. For the retail channel, organic shelled almonds are available in 120 g, 500 g, and 1 kg formats. For wholesale and traditional distribution, shelled almonds are available in 1, 5, and 10 kg bags. Completing the offer is a gourmet line in customised 120 g boxes, designed for the high-end market and export.

There is a growing demand for by-products. The organic offer includes 'Vinci a tutti' almond flour, paste, and crumbs. These products are mainly destined for the pastry, confectionery, and ice-cream industry.

The domestic market absorbs about 90% of total brand sales. Distribution is mainly concentrated in Central and Northern Italy. Here, demand is driven by the confectionery industry, the artisan sector, and the H&R channels.

Exports account for the remaining 10%, showing a slight increase compared to 2024. The main foreign destinations are Germany, France, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Foreign sales are developed through wholesale supply, industry, H&R, and high-end bakeries.

Finally, Stella, Samantha, and Giuseppe Vetriolo comment on the direct sales channel: "Direct sales and corporate e-commerce continue to grow, registering a 30% increase over 2024. This confirms the interest in short supply chain products and promotes the narrative linked to our territory."
