All the biggest and most important companies that have invested in avocado oil extraction plants have relied on Amenduni's technology, which combines the tradition of a company founded in 1905 with the technological innovation that is essential in a young and extremely dynamic sector such as that of avocado oil, in which the Italian company boasts twenty years of experience.

"Colombia, a country of fundamental importance for the Latin American agro-industry, has all the potential to become the world's second largest producer of avocados (second only to Mexico), with high-quality fruit and good quantities of fat," says Riccardo Stillavati, engineer at Amenduni. "Just like in the other countries where we are present with our machinery, we supply plants for the extraction of avocado oil to recover all the waste products, including waste from other processes, and transform what until a few years ago was considered a cost into an incredible added value for the players in this sector. All this is obviously supported by a network of technicians, thanks to the collaboration with important local companies. What is even more interesting is the constantly increasing demand from avocado oil buyers, with demand growing by more than 7% every year. Technical service is provided by our staff specialised in avocado oil processing, a sector in which Amenduni is the undisputed leader with a market share of over 60% on the global market."

Amenduni will be present for the fifth consecutive time at Territorio Aguacate 2025, scheduled for 5 and 6 November 2025 at Plaza Mayor in Medellín (Colombia), a fair entirely dedicated to the avocado supply chain that brings together more than 130 exhibitors from over 10 countries. The Italian company also took part in the Expoalimentaria 2025 exhibition held in Lima (24-26 September 2025) and in the III Salón de la Aceituna y Aceite de Oliva Peruano (19-20 September), in Tacna, the Peruvian olive oil capital.
