Manter has expanded its international operations with the launch of Manter Nordic, a new branch serving Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Iceland. The branch, operational since October 1, aims to strengthen the company's position in the Scandinavian market and improve local service and support.
Manter Nordic will offer a full range of weighing, packaging, and palletizing machinery, as well as sorting and quality control systems. The new branch is a collaboration with Kenneth Rasmussen, who has previously worked with Manter through a dealership.

"Over the past period, we have achieved excellent results together," said Michiel Eilander, Commercial Director of Manter International. "That gave us the confidence to take this step." Rasmussen added, "I also saw strong potential for the Manter range, especially right now, where there has been a period of good profit in the potato business. So when Manter approached me with the opportunity for a partnership, it was not a very long decision process."
According to Rasmussen, the Scandinavian market presents opportunities for investment in automation and production efficiency. "The market for potatoes, onions, and other vegetables is well-developed. Many producers are currently investing in upgrading their lines, focusing on capacity, quality, and automation," he said.
Manter Nordic will also collaborate with other equipment suppliers, including Flikweert and Jongejans, to provide integrated production line solutions that combine weighing, packaging, palletizing, sorting, and dust extraction systems.
The company said that maintaining a local presence allows for faster service response times, direct communication with the factory, and technical support in local languages.
Since its establishment, Manter Nordic has already supplied several machine lines from Manter, Flikweert, and Jongejans in the region. Rasmussen said he looks forward to building further partnerships with growers and packaging companies across Scandinavia.
