A Chinese family went viral after devouring 5.5kg of durian in just 30 minutes outside Chiang Mai International Airport. The fruit, bought earlier that day, was barred from being taken on board their return flight due to its strong odor. Not wanting to waste the pricey fruit, the family decided to eat it all before departure. The scene, shared on Douyin by a traveler surnamed Li, quickly spread across Chinese social media, sparking amusement and admiration for their determination to finish Thailand's famously pungent "king of fruits."
