A two-day business matchmaking event titled "Business Meetings with Buyers of Large-Scale Retailers Present in Poland" is set to take place in Warsaw from 16 to 17 September 2025. The initiative is designed to connect companies in the fresh produce sector with category buyers representing major supermarket chains operating in Poland and other European markets.

Retailers that typically attend include Arhelan, Auchan, Biedronka, Carrefour, Chata Polska, Dino, E.Leclerc, Eurocash Group (including Delikatesy Centrum, abc, Lewiatan, and Cash&Carry), frisco.pl, Intermarché, Makro, Nasz Sklep, POLOmarket, Selgros, SPAR, Stokrotka, and Żabka. Given Poland's position as the largest and most dynamic retail market in Europe outside of China, and its importance as a logistics hub for Northern and Eastern Europe, additional buyers from surrounding regions are expected. These include representatives from chains such as Maxima Grupė and Profi from Romania.
The event will also include participation from national importers, food service distributors operating within the hotel, restaurant, and catering sectors (HoReCa), as well as wholesalers serving smaller or regional supermarket chains.
Companies attending the event will represent categories including fresh produce, plants and flowers, packaging solutions, post-harvest processing, seed and plant breeding, as well as machinery, robotics, and AI technologies relevant to agriculture.
Each registered company will be allocated five scheduled face-to-face meetings with buyers, organised in advance as part of the event format. An early bird pre-registration period is open until 31 July 2025, offering discounted participation fees and priority in meeting scheduling. Attendance is limited, and all meetings will follow a pre-arranged timetable.
