Xizang park approved to export to Hong Kong and Macao

A fruit and vegetable park located in Dranang county within China's Xizang autonomous region has secured certification to supply organic produce to both Hong Kong and Macao. The certification is anticipated to broaden market access and drive the region's agricultural development, reports Xizang Daily.

Identified as a key project for Xizang supported by Hunan province, the Xizang Green Source Highland Organic Fruit and Vegetable Industry Park plays a role in the agricultural industrialization push in the region. The certification is likely to impact the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area market, with projections indicating an annual supply exceeding 1,000 metric tons of organic fruits and vegetables to Hong Kong and Macao.

The facility incorporates advanced agricultural technologies, including intelligent greenhouses and efficient water and fertilizer systems, merging traditional methods with modern innovations.
