Imports of fruits and nuts from China to Kyrgyzstan saw a sharp rise in March 2025, both in volume and value, according to data from China's General Administration of Customs.
In monetary terms, the import value increased by 2.3 times compared to March of the previous year, reaching almost $85 million. In terms of physical volume, imports grew by 1.8 times, totaling approximately 57,000 tons.
A total of 25 different types of fruits and nuts were imported from China during the month. The largest share of import value came from:
- Mandarins
- Fresh grapes
- Pears
- Shelled walnuts
- Pineapples
- Kiwis
- Apples
- Oranges.
