Two logistics centres for processing and storing fruits and berries opened in Kyrgyzstan's Jalal-Abad region. The first logistics warehouse was opened in the Aksy district, with an investment of 22 million soms (more than EUR230,000), according to the Ministry of Agriculture's press service. The facility can store up to 500 tons of fruits and berries.

Additionally, starting in September, a logistics centre for the processing of prunes will begin full operations in the village of Jerghe-Tal.

"A total of 26.8 million soms (more than EUR280,000) was spent on the construction of the facility and equipping it with the necessary equipment. The centre plans to process, package, and export the finished products to Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation, and Uzbekistan. The facility can process up to 50 tons of prunes per day," the statement reads.
