During January-November 2023, Azerbaijan imported a total of 14,932 tons of oranges from foreign countries, amounting to $10,742,000. This is an increase of 8.5% in value compared to the same period in 2022 and an 8.3% rise in quantity.
The import price per ton of oranges stood at $719 for the 11 months in 2023, slightly higher than the $721 recorded during the same period in 2022.
Similarly, Azerbaijan's lemon imports surged during the same timeframe, reaching 19,231 tons valued at $16,011,000. This indicates a 7.6% increase in value and a 6.6% increase in quantity compared to January-November 2022.
The average import price for lemons per ton was $833 for the period spanning January-November 2023, up by 0.9% from the same period in 2022, where it was $825.
