Kyrgyzstan has officially begun exporting potatoes to Uzbekistan following the signing of a contract by the Kyrgyz Trade Representation in Uzbekistan, led by Almaz Temirbekov.
The agreement with major Uzbek importers covers the supply of high-quality potatoes from the Naryn and Issyk-Kul regions. The parties have negotiated mutually beneficial terms, ensuring top-notch product quality and competitive prices.
The first batch of 1,000 tons from Naryn and Issyk-Kul underwent laboratory tests and was successfully delivered to Tashkent, as reported by Almasbek Abytov, a representative of the cabinet in the Kyrgyz Parliament.
This collaboration highlights successful bilateral relations and establishes a foundation for long-term partnerships in trade and economics. According to the Kyrgyz Chamber of Commerce, Kyrgyzstan is proud to contribute to regional ties and anticipates new opportunities in international trade.
