Horticulture Department plans to increase cold storage facilities in Kashmir

The Horticulture Department Kashmir is planning to enhance cold storage facilities from 206,000 to 500,000 tons in the coming years. Mohd Amin Bhat from the Directorate of Horticulture Kashmir has stated that the department is planning to add more cold storage facilities in the valley, adding that the horticulture department has extended the cold storage facilities from 180,000 tons in 2022 to 206,000 tons this year. He said that the number of cold storage facilities has been improved from 42 in 2022 to 44 this year.
