Police officers in Assam seize narcotics from an apple trader

Assam police officers have seized some narcotics from a fruit trader. They were carrying out an operation against narcotics in the South Salmara Mankachar district of the state. The operation took place in Hatsingimari, the district headquarters of South Salmara Mankachar on Monday. The narcotics were found on the premises of an apple trader. The police were able to recover 260 narcotic tablets.

Two people were arrested in regard to the incident. The police team has detained them in Kharuabanda and continues with the necessary investigation into the matter.
