Milling cutters by Calderoni Rolando, watch the video!

Increasing sales of soil processing equipment

People have gone back to using milling cutters over the past few months. Alessandro Calderoni specifies that "they are mainly specific tools for under the rows, so a lot of precision and an agile component that can move away from trunks without causing damage are needed."

"Of course they were never discarded, but I have been noticing an increase in demand lately, also from abroad. Azerbaijan, Eastern Europe, Spain and north Africa are just some of the areas where we have exported a lot."

FPS is the reference model: it features a tilting blade head with a hydraulic piston (2 oil quick couplings), 1100 mm splined shaft, check valve, double lifter couplings, a level with steel wire for manual emergency retraction.

FPS is a specialist machine for inter-row processing in orchards, citrus fruit groves, kiwi orchards, apricot orchards, apple orchards, lemon groves or trees with large foliage. The machine stands out due to its wide hydraulic side movement and interchangeable tools.

It can be used to uproot weeds near the trunk and is suitable for espalier systems. The advantages are the gentleness of the tools on the trunk, the high processing speed and the possibility of varying the type of processing with the same machine (milling, tilling, earthing up, rolling).

The FPS with rotating harrow boasts a supplementary hydraulic side movement (2 quick oil couplings), tilting blade head with hydraulic piston (2 quick oil couplings), 1100mm splined shaft with clutch, level with steel wire for manual emergency retraction, check valve and double lifter couplings. The advantages include the wide side motion range, the processing speed, the limited soil loosening, no problems on stony soils, lack of hardpan and a very delicate sensor.

Finally, Unica Jolly can be equipped with small miller, harrow discs and mini-plough suitable for soil processing.
