Fresh produce platform Tazah raises $2m as tech gains traction

Tazah is a B2B agriculture marketplace in Pakistan. It has raised $2 million in a pre-seed round led by Global Founders Capital and co-led by Zayn Capital.

“Financing is something we are aggressively looking after because it’s a future play for us and we are working with farmers to know what they are doing, and how they are actually getting financing,” one of its founders Moshin Zaka said in a statement.

According to arabnews.com, the platform aims to streamline supply chains and connect businesses to quality fresh produce. It currently has a network of around 300 sellers. The funding will be used to improve Tazah’s platform as it wants to create shorter routes, expand its network, and establish a solid logistics infrastructure.
