A ton of spring onions from China worth RM5,184.97 has been seized at the Tanjung Pelepas Port. Maqis officials were conducting a routine check on a shipping container when they found the spring onions among other vegetables that came in from China. There were import permits for the other vegetables, but none for the spring onions.
