INI Farms Pvt Ltd is a Indian large exporter of bananas and pomegranates. It has now expanded its product portfolio with seasonal fruits like grapes, mangoes and oranges, aiming at markets in China and Australia.
“We have created a pipeline from the farms to the retailers worldwide. We believe that we can push more products now,” stated Pankaj Khandelwal, INI Farms Chairman and Managing Director. The firm began exports of grapes this year and can also be on mangoes within the present season.
Newswrapindia.com quoted Khandelwal as saying: “We exported four different varieties of grapes from India this year, which we will expand significantly going forward.” INI Farms could be sourcing grapes from farmers in the important producing areas of Nashik and Sangli in Maharashtra.
