AU: First Victorian nectarines arrive at Shanghai Huiz Han market

The first Victorian grown nectarines arrived today, 30th November, by direct access to the Shanghai Huiz Han wholesale markets in China. They were supplied by V.F.Siciliano & Sons. The airfreight protocol to China for nectarines requires a quarantine treatment by fumigation of 5.5 hours.

The fruit arrived onto the market floor in great condition, paving the way for more delicious fresh nectarines to follow. The pallet was received by Mr Ralph Zhou on behalf of Dalian Yidu Group Co.Ltd. Immediate market interest was shown by the traders and e-commerce buyers present. The Australian Industry is backing-up these first airfreight arrivals with a series of sea containers, departing this week onwards, as the season gets into top gear.
