That should never be a reason to reject Florida grapefruit."

"All in all, sales are going well. Demand is good and stable. We have regular clients for the thick sizes. They are always gone quickly. The domestic market is also playing along nicely, and there's also demand from clients in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Scandinavia," Bas says.
The detrimental effect of grapefruit on medication against high blood pressure aren't seen as a danger to sales by the seller. "I'm assuming that people who take medication, know what they can and cannot eat. For the vast majority of consumers, grapefruit consumption is actually very healthy."
