New asparagus monitoring display system at expoSE in Karlsruhe

The firm BOSCH Deepfield Robotics is using the leading trade fair for asparagus- and berry production to introduce the "Asparagus Monitoring Display System" on the 18-19 November 2015, to the European expert audience at the fair in Karlsruhe.

The developer promises that the new asparagus monitoring display system will convey the soil temperatures to the user via a smartphone app.

To this end, a sensor firmly installed in the soil, registers the soil temperature at three different depths as well as directly under the surface. The system sends the data to a BOSCH-operated computer over the internet. From here, with an app the agriculturalist can call up the data directly to a smartphone or tablet at any time. Usage by several users is also possible, so that access for employees or consultants is easily set up. Further possibilities arise with alarm functions. Recording the temperature figures allows for an estimate of when the harvest will start.
