Italy: More than 3 billion Euros damage

After the autumn storms recorded recently, the estimated direct and indirect damage caused to agriculture by extreme weather events during 2012 amounts to 3 billion Euro: snow and ice that blocked Italy during the winter and then warm and summer drought that burned the crops.
