Chilean Blueberry harvest:

Chile: Export volumes to increase in coming weeks

The blueberry season in Chile is reported to be progressing as usual, without any significant interruption from the weather.

More orchards are being brought into the harvest at this stage, which allows for an increase in export volumes. greater shipments are anticipated as of week 48, with over 3,500 tons expected per week.

No significant advance in the phenological stages has been observed in the Central-South Zone, so a similar to normal performance is expected from the region.

In the South Zone, the temperature differential has been narrowing compared with previous weeks, but still remains above the figure recorded last year at the same date.
