New in the fresh produce sector: Food Freshness Card
"This card can double fresh produce’s shelf life”"
“We have already won several awards with this product. At first, we only focused on our medical markets, but we also saw an enormous potential for fresh produce. With this Food Freshness Card, the shelf life of fruit and vegetables can be doubled. Would you like to try it? Take a card and we’d love to hear the results,” said Rick and RJ Hassler enthusiastically during the London Produce Show.

Battling food waste
Father Rick and son RJ Hassler are from the company Nature’s Frequencies from Brockton, US, and introduced a very special ‘card’, new to the produce world. “We introduced it in the fresh produce sector in the summer of 2016. Responses so far have been overwhelming. Of course, we have proof that the products have a shelf life that can reach twice as long. The Food Freshness Card was examined by labs, doctors, and universities. We also did many commercial tests. Besides, we have another trump card that really is hard to pass up: the satisfaction guarantee. Does the Food Freshness Card not work satisfactorily after 90 days? Then the customer gets a 100% refund!” With this card, the company battles food waste, which is a global problem.“ Because of this, fewer products are thrown out, and people can save hundreds of dollars per month. This is evidenced by a University study.”
Can be used anywhere
“The Food Freshness Card is A6-sized, laminated and holographic. The card can be used at home, both in the refrigerator and in fruit bowls or other places where fresh products are stored. Besides fruit and vegetables, bread can also be stored longer. For commercial use in the fresh produce sector, the cards can be used in cooling cells and in storage, for example. Larger rooms need multiple Food Freshness Cards. They can almost be used anywhere!”
