Faster procedures as customs took place at source

First shipment of Argentine mandarins to the Philippines

Argentina has already sent its first shipment of mandarins to the Philippines. The mandarins exported came from the San Francisco de Monte Caseros cooperative, located in the province of Corrientes.

The shipment consisted of 22 tons of mandarins, which were packaged complying with the demanding regulations for export, and conducting the customs operation at source that allowed the traceability in the plant. The Customs, Senasa, and AFIP agencies participated in the certification and commercialization processes and all the procedures were carried out through the new unified control and expediting of the export system.

The cooperative is located on provincial route No. 33, at Colonia San Francisco, in the department of Monte Caseros, which continues working on strengthening and development. The San Francisco cooperative currently exports concentrated juices to the Netherlands and fresh fruits to the Philippines, Indonesia.
