Lulu's Saudi mango festival highlights local varieties

The Lulu Saudi Mango Festival 2024, showcasing twenty-four local mango varieties, has been launched across the nation, emphasizing the agricultural prowess of Saudi Arabia.

The event, inaugurated at various Lulu Hypermarket locations, including Atyaf Mall, Riyadh, LuLu Al-Ruwais, Jeddah, and Al-Shatea Al-Sharqi District, Dammam, marks a strategic effort to promote Saudi agricultural products and support local farmers.

Eng. Muhammad Al-Abdullatif and other dignitaries highlighted the festival's role in showcasing Saudi mangoes, including Mango Sudani, Baladi, and Zill, among others. The festival, running until 7 May, also features international varieties adapted to Saudi conditions, offering consumers a wide range of mango-based products. Muhammad Al-Abdullatif expressed satisfaction with the event's role in promoting Saudi agriculture, while Shehim Mohammed emphasized the health benefits and taste of Saudi mangoes, celebrating the success of local farmers.
