Over 381,000 tonnes of potatoes have been harvested in Kyrgyzstan so far in 2025, with an average yield of 16.53 tonnes per hectare. Early and mid-early varieties were collected from 23,100 hectares.
The highest yields were recorded in the Issyk-Kul region, averaging 20 tonnes per hectare. In the Naryn region, harvesting started in the Kochkor district, where farmers report yields of 18–20 tonnes per hectare from varieties such as Aktrisa and Jelli.
Overall, the total harvested area across the country is expected to reach 64,600 hectares this year.
