More than 40 companies express interest in Jager Holland / WTG Logistics bankruptcy

The bankruptcy of Jager Holland and WTG Logistics has generated significant interest in the market. "A great many companies have come forward," says trustee Mr. J.M. Sprangers of REIN Advocaten. When asked, he indicates that a total of more than 40 companies are involved, with five of them showing interest in acquiring both the fresh produce trading company Jager Holland and its logistics arm WTG Logistics.

"But those forty parties also include transport companies that may only be interested, for example, in a single tractor unit, as well as others interested in the combination of both companies, so there's a wide range of interest," he explains. "All interested parties have received an information memorandum. We have a fairly short bidding period, so I expect to know more about the sales process this weekend. Our preference is for a traditional relaunch, but if that's not possible, both companies will be sold in parts."
