Kosovo police seize 1,000 kg of peppers

The Kosovo Police announced that a large quantity of peppers suspected of being smuggled was seized.

According to the police, a van with local license plates driven by a man from Kosovo was stopped on the Lisocka–Kamenica road. During the search of the vehicle, 92 packages of peppers were found with a total weight of about 1,000 kilograms. The market value was estimated at €2,500–3,000 (US$2,700–3,250).

Police reported that the driver did not have valid documentation for the goods he was transporting. A procedure has been initiated, and the peppers have been handed over to customs.
