With brand-new premises on the horizon and the opening scheduled for September, things are busy at Verbruggen Palletizing Solutions. This includes intensive work on a new upper frame for the Emmeloord-based company's current palletiser. In addition, an updated version of the manipulator is being developed for the machine. "The goal is to start delivering the upgrades to our customers by the end of this year, and we aim to have a complete demo setup ready for the opening of our new facility in September," explained Collin Koornstra of Verbruggen Palletizing Solutions.

"The images already give a taste of the revamped top frame"
To meet evolving user needs, the current model, which has been on the market for 13 years, has been further developed. "Given our company's objective to grow alongside our customers, we also wanted to introduce a machine with the latest technology and new features," Collin explains.

As factories expand and production volumes increase, the need for faster palletisers becomes more pressing. Additionally, we want to stay close to our customers, which led us to actively revise the machine so it can grow with them. You might compare it to a Tesla; you buy a car, but always have the option to add features or increase capacity without major changes. That's what we wanted to achieve with this machine, and I believe we've succeeded in that, creating a valuable addition to our range."

Currently, the new upper frame is in the testing phase before entering production. "We expect to introduce it by the end of the year. Right now, we're exploring its capabilities and conducting endurance tests to determine consistent production capacity. Because we've developed a variable product, this naturally comes with certain challenges. After all, you always want to deliver exactly what the customer has paid for, so it's crucial to map everything out. Moreover, new development also brings a new appearance," Collin continued. "A fresh, modern look that aligns with current times, also featuring an integrated illuminated indicator that shows the machine's operating percentages."
