IFU commended Fundecitrus for over 47 years of contributions, highlighting their research and technological tools, including Psyllid Alert, harvest estimates, citrus census, and disease studies. The Good Fruits program, promoting legal labor practices, was also noted.

Juliano Ayres, executive director of Fundecitrus, accepted a symbolic trophy, stating, "It is a great honor to receive an award like this," while recognizing the collaborative effort of the Fundecitrus team. The event saw participation from researchers Nelson Wulff and Patrícia Monteiro.

The 2025 IFU conference attracted about 280 attendees from various nations, including distributors, suppliers, association executives, and university researchers.
