Museveni, advocating for an economy that adapts to changing global demands, mentioned the potential of diversifying into fruit cultivation, including mangoes, oranges, pineapples, apples, and grapes, alongside essential food crops like cassava and bananas. Furthermore, the president plans to engage with leaders from the Rwenzori Sub Region in June to deliberate on regional agricultural strategies. This initiative aligns with this year's theme for National Labor Day, which focuses on enhancing access to labor justice to boost productivity.
