Turkistan region will see first harvest of bananas this summer

Gen Group Kazakhstan, located in the Turkistan Region's Sairam district, is set to achieve its inaugural banana harvest in the early summer. The venture embarked on planting 7,400 banana tree seedlings across 5.3 hectares last summer, employing Turkish technology for cultivation.

This marks the first foray into banana cultivation on an industrial scale, as highlighted by Gen Group Kazakhstan. The firm underscored the absence of risks in growing such exotic fruits, provided that optimal temperature and humidity levels are consistently maintained. Furthermore, The Group has outlined plans to distribute its produce, which includes bananas, lemons, and dates.
