On March 23, 2024, experts from the Rosselkhoznadzor in the Trans-Baikal Region prevented the import of tomatoes from China contaminated with Tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV).
During quarantine, phytosanitary control at the temporary storage warehouse of LLC SVH "TLT-Zabaykalsk," a batch of tomatoes weighing 450 kg originating from China, was found to harbor the quarantine pest.
