Under the theme "European Potato Trade in 2030: a sector in transition", this year's event will focus on the main environmental, economic and social challenges for the potato sector and traders for the coming years, but also on the solutions and opportunities that new tools and techniques can deliver.

On Friday 24 May, the renowned international keynote speaker Rik Vera will give an energising and inspiring keynote speech on "How to stay relevant for people and society tomorrow and the day after tomorrow". Vera: "The world has entered the Twilight Zone: the old business models are slowly deflating, they are merging and industry lines are blurring. Out of this chaos a new world is rising with hundreds of new business models. We have the biggest opportunity ever in front of us to re-think how we produce, process, distribute and consume food, water, energy, mobility… "
