ASV Packaging and Hinojosa:

“New sustainable packaging for the food sector”

The subject of packaging has been stirring the food sector for some time, and companies continue to develop more "sustainable" solutions. ASV Packaging and Hinojosa Packaging Group, for example, will be present at the CFIA trade show in Rennes from March 12th to 14th, 2024 (9-E32) to present "a wide range of new products to respond to the growing demand for responsible and sustainable solutions in the food sector."

Halopack: "the sustainable alternative to plastic trays"
This new food packaging system is produced exclusively by ASV Packaging in France and Hinojosa in Spain and Portugal. Lightweight, practical, and made from over 80% FSC-certified recycled cardboard, the Halopack tray is also 100% recyclable. It is the ideal substitute for plastic trays for fresh and ultra-fresh food products packaged under a modified atmosphere (MAP) or vacuum (SKIN).

"Recyclable heat-sealed trays"
Heat-sealed trays for fruit and vegetables eliminate 95% of plastic while keeping the product visible and the packaging tamper-proof. This sustainable solution won a prize at the Pap'Awards 2023. It offers multiple advantages: personalization, extended product shelf-life thanks to lateral ventilation, and simplified shelving.

At CFIA, Hinojosa will also be exhibiting trays of fruit and vegetables made from cardboard and fully recyclable.
