I put a salad bar in my fridge

Micah Enriquez, a New Jersey-based DIY digital creator, has gained attention for her innovative fridge salad bar hack shared on her Make It With Micah channels. Aiming to fulfill her New Year's resolution of eating a salad daily, Enriquez organized a fridge drawer with various salad ingredients in individual containers, including avocados, Babybel cheese, carrots, tomatoes, eggs, broccoli, feta cheese, hummus, olive tapenade, and lettuce.

This system has also encouraged her husband to eat more salads. Her approach has sparked curiosity, with viewers questioning the storage of avocados and tomatoes in the fridge and the longevity of the ingredients. Enriquez assures that the items remain fresh and don't dry out, typically lasting 7-10 days. Her tip for affordable organic produce is shopping at Trader Joe's. Her viral post has attracted over 2.5 million views on TikTok and 1.3 million on Instagram.
