Italy: Ser.mac invests in human capital

"In December 2014, we hired four engineers (two electrical and two mechanical) to further increase the company expertise and know-how accumulated over the years," explain Ser.mac representatives.

Founded in 1990, Ser.mac manufactures machinery and plants for the processing, treatment, grading, quality selection and packaging of fresh produce.

The participation in the latest edition of Fruit Logistica in Berlin reinforced the enthusiasm of the group. "Our professionalism and innovative technological solutions were very much welcomed by visitors."

At the event, the group presented DAYTONA, a dynamic versatile grader equipped with the latest technologies to improve the quality of fruit in an increasingly demanding market.

As regards corporate and client approach policy, the objective is to improve the relationship with the exiting clients thanks to the new technologies available.

"Although the economic situation is not good at a global level, we managed to do well in the past years, so we now have highly specialised employees."
