Camposol Fresh B.V. receives IFS certification

Camposol Fresh B.V., sales office of Camposol Peru located in Europe, has achieved the IFS-Broker V2 certification with a score of 95.31% (Higher Level). The audit process was conducted with the independent certification company NSF International. It is the first international level certification for Camposol Fresh.

Team Camposol Fresh Maasdijk

To prepare for the implementation of the IFS standard a special team was formed, with the participation of Sergio Torres (Camposol Fresh manager), Estela Duarte (project coordinator and responsible for Quality Management in Camposol Fresh) and Cynthia Rojas (Quality Management, Camposol SA / Peru) which had the support and cooperation of all partners in the Maasdijk office. Thanks to the intense preparation, the implementation was carried out in a record time of approx. 2 months.

Sergio Torres: "For Camposol Fresh, the ‘IFS Broker certification’ signifies a confirmation from an independent certifying agency that the internal processes of the company comply with different regulations, in terms of quality and food safety. In this manner, we provide confidence to our customers, ensuring that Camposol and all of its suppliers meet the highest of standards for the products and services they provide. With this certification, Camposol also follows the demands of the Retail industry which requires third-party audits."

The IFS standard is in line with Camposol’s company philosophy regarding excellence in quality, safety, customer and consumer satisfaction, and the search for a competitive edge in the market. The general policy of the company is reflected in various aspects of the certification, such as:
• Evidence of the commitment to food safety
• A tool for quality management
• Optimization of all buying and selling processes
• Differentiation, commercial positioning and access to new markets

All Camposol production plants in Peru have the IFS, BRC, HACCP and GLOBAL GAP certifications, and in its European operations Camposol is careful so that logistics providers also operate with certification for logistics and food standards. As a subsidiary of Camposol in Europe, Camposol Fresh aims to increase the quality of service provided to the company’s customers by understanding the market and its needs, ensuring compliance with international quality standards. In this sense, the IFS certification can be the first step towards other international certifications for Camposol Fresh BV.
