About the Role:

BBC Technologies is a fast-growing, internationally-focused business driven by a team of committed and passionate professionals. We are a team that likes to have fun; we truly live the meaning of “work hard play hard” and we are looking to fill a recent vacancy in our management team. As the Global Sales Manager you will be responsible for delivering global sales revenue for the business unit. This includes management of the sales team worldwide and developing sales capabilities within the organization. You will be travelling 40-60% of the year to multiple countries in North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australasia.


As the Global Sales Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing plans and initiatives that are directed towards the achievements of the organisational sales objectives
  • Analysing trends to accurately determine annual sales by forecasting and developing sales quotas for regions
  • Creating clear processes for quote generation and approval, sales team reporting, and accountability
  • Building a strong global sales team that works together to obtain sales goals and build market share
  • Collecting and coordinating market intelligence to recognize and anticipate new opportunities
  • Building and sustaining rapport with key customers and sales team members


About you:

To be successful in this role you will need to be flexible. Able to adapt to a rapidly-changing landscape with continuous pressure from a demanding global customer base.

  • Proven experience in a sales operations function, with demonstrated success in driving operational efficiency
  • Experience in successfully managing a high performance team
  • Experience in the produce industry required
  • Experience in sales of capital equipment
  • A good analytical mind that enables data to present your viewpoints and success
  • A motivated, self-driven individual, who is a team player and can motivate others
  • Ability to speak an additional language is advantageous
  • Ability to develop plans that can be effectively implemented and enhance our sales capabilities
