Chief Agronomist
The company Agribiotech Italia srl, engaged all over the world in the development and promotion of modern agricultural projects in the nut sector (hazelnuts, walnuts, almonds, pistachios), is looking for a Chief Agronomist for its headquarters in the province of Naples.
Main activities:
Projects and management of modern orchards (hazelnuts, walnuts, almonds, pistachios)
Planning and management of the production of farmers
Contribute to the correct implementation of activities in the field
Support the development and maintenance of the main innovative projects of the company
Development and management of crop improvement and valorisation plans
It is requested:
Degree in Agricultural Sciences or similar
3-5 years of experience in the sector
General agronomic skills, specific competences in cultivation techniques and nutrition and defense of nut trees
Excellent knowledge of the English language
Good knowledge of Excel and CAD project design systems
Proactivity in anticipating, identifying and solving problems by working in synergy with the team
Availability to travel in Italy, the Balkans, Eastern Europe and Central Asia
